Mr. Collins combines his belief in personal excellence with the support of a collaborative team of professionals and the resources of a large custodial financial institution. He is the Co-CIO & Managing Director of Collins Investment Group, a division of XML Financial Group (CIG). Prior to joining XML Financial Group, Mr. Collins was Managing Director and CEO of Collins Investment Group which operated as an independent business model within the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Prior to founding his own business, Mr. Collins spent more than a decade as a Managing Director – Investments within Wells Fargo Advisors. From 2006-2021, he received Wells Fargo Advisors’ professional excellence award and was named a Premier Advisor. The Premier Advisors distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients. Mr. Collins is a portfolio manager entrusted to manage client portfolios with discretionary authority through the Private Investment Management (PIM) program.4
Mr. Collins believes in the importance of giving back to the community. He is a supporter of the US Chess Center of Washington, DC and Adoptions Together in Montgomery County, MD. He is a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Parish and a former treasurer and Board Member of The Barnesville School.
