My love and dedication for financial planning began long before my first job in the financial industry more than ten years ago. It started with a realization of the importance of money when my family struggled to make ends meet in post-Soviet Russia, in the times when hyperinflation and banks’ bankruptcies would wipe out people’s hard earned savings in a flash. I knew then that money was something very important and I had to learn everything there was to know about it to be in control of my future. In college I realized a deep desire to help other people do the same.
My professional mission is to help clients take care of their financial lives so that money concerns and anxieties don’t take their focus away from things truly important to them and their families. I work with clients in all aspects of the financial planning process, from high-level analysis to holding their hand through difficult times. I want our clients to feel confident that when it comes to their finances, they are in caring hands.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from George Mason University where I later earned a master’s degree and am a life and health insurance agent. I obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 2015, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. These professionals have voluntarily agreed to abide by high standards of ethical conduct and client service.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, jazz, opera, and photography. Originally from Moscow, Russia, I reside in Fairfax, Virginia with my daughter.
