Gerardo Salazar is the Controller at XML Financial Group. He has been directly involved with financial accounting for the past 10 years of his professional career, most recently working with another Focus Financial Partners firm, FI Services, LLC. Here at XML, Gerardo oversees the accounting operations of the firm. He maintains accounting records for the production of financial reporting, banking, budgeting, AP, AR, payroll, audits and other miscellaneous day-to-day financial operations that are needed to run the firm. His ultimate goal is to maximize returns in financial assets by establishing financial policies, controls and procedures, to put XML in the best position possible to succeed.

Education & Philanthropy

Gerardo graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He currently lives in Johnston, RI, with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he coaches middle school boys’ AAU basketball and loves traveling with his family.
