Jaime Brown is a Compliance Officer at XML. She joined the firm in February 2016 with over 10 years of office administration and accounting experience. She began her career with an accounting department for a small government HVAC contracting firm in Waldorf, MD, where she worked for 6 years. When she moved to Virginia, she was the Business Administration Manager for a fast-paced IT company out of Tysons Corner. Ready for change, Jaime first joined XML as the Falls Church Office Administrator. She soon became a Client Services Associate, working with senior Advisors. She worked closely with clients, ensuring their needs were met and their concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Jaime’s customer service skills shined through during her personal interactions in the office or over the phone, whether with clients or with colleagues. Her dedication to excellence ensured continued strong relationships with clients. In 2020, Jaime and her family relocated to Guam for her husband’s job. Jaime was able to continue to work with XML on special projects. She soon realized she had a propensity for regulatory compliance roles. In 2023 she passed the FINRA series 14 to become a Compliance Officer. She currently works in a remote capacity from Guam where she lives with her husband and two children. When she’s not working, you can find her at the beach, paddle boarding, or exploring the island with family and friends.
